According to IBNA correspondent quoting from honaroline.ir, this exhibition opened in March 27 and will run by September 20. The Iranian books displayed in this event are drowned from the Library of Congress Persian collection in the African and Middle Eastern Division.
The exhibition is displaying various Iranian notable books from different eras such as ancient manuscripts and their works which have been published in contemporary times.
“A Thousand Years of the Persian Book” project was fulfilled by Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans and the Roshan Institute for Persian Studies at the University of Maryland with the support of the Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute based in Hawaii.
